Use Cover for an existing recording, Song Generator for a new idea or lyric-based song, Lyrics Generator for editable words, and the audio tools for an existing mix or melody.
How It Works: Make AI Songs and Covers with Singify
Choose the input you have and the musical change you want. This guide takes you from the right Studio tool to a first listen, then to the next edit or export without treating every task as song generation.
Start with AI Song Covers or a New Musical Idea
On Singify, an existing recording and an unwritten idea have different paths. Open AI Song Cover to reinterpret a melody or change its singer. Bring a source you are allowed to adapt, then decide what should remain.
Start an original when your input is a description or lyrics. Audio tools process a recording you already have; they do not substitute for choosing the creation mode.
Use the AI Song Generator for Text or Lyrics to Song
The AI song generator accepts a description in Simple Mode, or lyrics and musical style in Custom Mode. Both offer Instrumental when you do not want singing. A clear scene and arrangement give you a brief to judge against.
The AI lyrics generator produces editable text first. Read those lines aloud, shorten crowded phrases and transfer the draft when it is ready to become audio. One original submission returns two takes to compare.
Set the Cover Mode before the Voice or Instructions
Restyle makes a new performance around a source melody; Voice only aims to keep the words and backing while changing the singer. Restyle can use instructions and replacement lyrics. Voice only uses a custom voice you supply and does not offer those text fields.
Read how to make an AI cover song for the source and field checklist. Custom voice work requires the eligible paid setup; the plan comparison lists access and allowance conditions.
Check Attempts, Credits and the Submitted Task
Sign in before submitting. Free accounts share three attempts per UTC day across original generation, Restyle covers and MIDI conversion. On paid plans, originals cost one Credit, Restyle three and Voice only five. Check the displayed action cost before a rerun.
Follow the task in Studio and return to My Songs for song results. A queued or processing task needs to finish before playback or follow-on actions become available. If it fails, read the shown message and review the source or settings before trying again.
Listen before Using the AI Song Extender
For a finished take, compare the opening, chorus and ending. Check words, vocal phrasing and the change you requested. If the direction is wrong throughout, revise one instruction and generate another version.
Use the paid AI song extender when you want another section from a selected continuation point. The source remains saved. Listen to the returned result alongside it; check the transition and use an audio editor when your project needs a joined arrangement.
Choose Vocal Remover or Stem Splitter for the Parts
The paid vocal remover estimates two parts, vocals and backing, for practice or a closer listen. Use the paid stem splitter for six groups: vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other.
These are estimated parts from mixed audio. Compare with the original for bleed, missing attacks or softened detail before making an edit. Each separation request costs one Credit rather than producing another song-generation take.
Convert Audio to MIDI when You Need Notes
Audio to MIDI turns a recording into an editable note draft. Start with a clear musical line, then check pitch, duration and timing in a DAW. The MIDI file does not carry the original vocal or instrument sound.
Conversion uses one shared free attempt or one paid Credit. A completed MIDI file can be downloaded on Free; downloading a generated song audio file requires a paid plan.
Review Visibility, Downloads and Commercial Permissions
Free original songs are public and play online; paid original generation offers private visibility. Covers start private. Check each task rather than assuming every processed or extended result shares those defaults. For uploaded-material handling, read the privacy policy.
Song audio downloads require a paid plan. Commercial permissions apply to eligible results generated during an active annual Starter or Plus subscription and do not clear third-party source rights. The license agreement defines those conditions; monthly billing and a later upgrade do not grant the same rights to earlier results.

No. You can generate an original or use Restyle without a custom sample. Custom voice use requires your permitted uploaded sample and the applicable paid setup; Voice only needs a custom voice.
